I was just thinking as my kids were taking up the entire road with their tricycle, scooter, bicycles and other objects they ride on, that we live in a great place.  I am grateful that most of our community is watchful when my kids forget to be. 

Protect yourself against rising gas prices

Simple ways to Reduce Gas TheftThere are many strategies for lowering the number of gas thefts in your community:

Lock your car doors and also your gas tanks.  Buy locking gas caps. 

Park in a locked garage, if possible.  Avoid parking in dark, isolated areas. 

Park in well lit, highly visible areas.  

Simply WATCH and make eye contact with suspicious people, if they feel they are being watched, they will most likely leave the area. 

Secure gas cans in a garage or somewhere difficult for a thief to access.

Write down license plate information as well as car and people descriptions for anyone suspicious.

Report suspicious activity immediately to the police at 435-634-5730.
